Clearwater, Florida, is less than 45 minutes from Tampa and features both stunning beaches and a bay, in addition to a wide variety of attractions and activities located inland. Here are six things to do with the family in Clearwater, Florida, from taking in a minor league baseball game to hiking the world-famous Dolphin Trail.

Bounce Around

Indoor activities in Clearwater, such as AirHeads Trampoline Arena, are a great option when the weather is less than ideal. Trampolines are everywhere in this massive stadium so you can jump and bounce all day long. While your children are engaged in supervised trampoline basketball or dodgeball, you may take advantage of the facility's fitness courses, arcade games, and cafe.

Go Out To A Ballgame

Clearwater Threshers games at Spectrum Field, home of the Philadelphia Phillies' minor league club, are a fun alternative to the beach. Spectrum Field boasts more than 8,000 seats, a tiki hut pavilion in left field, and grass berm seating, making it one of Clearwater's most popular attractions from April through early September. There are places for large groups to picnic, a playground, and a high-tech television scoreboard.

Catch A Show

Downtown, you may see a show in the historic Capitol Theatre, which was built in 1921 and has played home to everything from vaudeville performers to war bond rallies, movies, and the Royalty Theatre Company.

Enjoy downtime by taking in a film, a Broadway tour, or a concert. With its 750 seats, private boxes, VIP lounge, an outdoor balcony overlooking Frenchy's rooftop terrace, this cultural monument is undoubtedly the largest of all Clearwater attractions.

The names of Clearwater citizens who participated in World War I are listed on a Panel of Honor, which may be seen in the lobby.

To find your way along Clearwater's famed Dolphin Trail, keep an eye out for the brightly coloured dolphin statues that stand at 6 feet. Over 120 dolphins, made of glass, ceramic, fibre art, and decoupage, are on show in this one-of-a-kind public art exhibit. You may get a Dolphin Trail Guide online or at one of the visitor centres to help you navigate the path.
